Dr Mary-Saskia Carpenter 

I am a 32-year-old registered phytotherapist with eight years of experience. I am passionate about healthcare, herbal medicine, and self-sufficiency. I ran a herbal medicine practice at a children's home for three years, where I took care of 70 children and 20 adults. I have been living and working in Swellendam since 2019. 

I obtained my initial qualifications in Phytotherapy at the University of the Western Cape. This included a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Complementary Medicine. I then completed a master's degree in Medical Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
